Just because you
dont see something doesnt mean it doesnt exist.
Sometimes invisible friends are real. Angel Friends is a touching
story about a girl and her new friend.

Angel Friends was
written by new author, Tara Williams, and is
based on a true story
of my niece who lost her dad at 2 years old, and she kept saying
things to her mom that were messages from her dad. Her mother
didnt believe until there were just too many coincidences.
The story has been
simplified and made child friendly and is not in the
least bit frightening. It is a lovely book about friendship for
anyone to read with their children.

for the first timeSave
There are many people
who talk to loved ones after they have passed away. They feel
comfort in doing so, and believe that they are heard. As adults
we think nothing of this, but when a child talks to an imaginary
friend, its often seen as cute or something they must get
over. Imaginary friends cant be real
.or can they?
India is a little
girl who has an imaginary friend, an angel called Julia. Indias
mom doesnt believe that Julia is real. India and Julia love
to play together and sing,
Angels
are around you everyday
and every night.
Just look very close
the sparkles are so bright!
Angels fly, angels sing,
angels can do anything!
Julia gives India
a white feather and says that whenever she sees one, its
an angel saying hi!.
One day after the
rain stopped and a rainbow appeared, a feather floated down into
the sink of dishes India mom was washing, as if out of thin
air. Then they saw a sparkle just above the rainbow through the
window. Indias mom was overcome with comforting love. Now
she believed as well.

Angel Friends is a
lovely book and it can be a stepping-stone for parents to talk,
as well as to listen, to their children. My uncle passed away
this summer; it was the first death my children had experience
of. Although we are an ocean away they have met him and know who
he is. They saw me grieving and although they are very bright,
its a tough concept to wholly understand so young. We used
this book to talk more about it and how some people still feel
their loved ones nearby and take comfort from talking to them,
even though they arent physically in the room.
Kallista is just at
the age where she has imaginary friends and can tell
all sorts of stories about them. Its interesting to listen
to these stories and learn what shes thinking about. If
something seems to be troubling her or one of her friends then
we can talk about it.
Whether you believe
in angels or not, Angel Friends is a touching story about friendship
and love.
